Whether celebrity or salesman, newscaster or newcomer, supermodel or supermarket cashier, Clay has always felt that any accomplished salon experience should feel more like a vacation than obligation, more zen than frenzy, more pamper than pit-stop --for every client. “I think of hair style as an art form,” Clay says. “The shape, color, and design of hair is not unlike creating art in my classes at the University.” He has a bachelor’s degree in fine arts as well as a business background, both of which lead up to the opening of his dream salon. Clay knows it is important to hand every client the look and personality that they envision when they walk through the door. “I want every client to leave looking and feeling better than they ever imagined themselves, happier than they ever thought possible.”
“In the end, let’s face it, it’s all about the experience,” Clay says. “If a client doesn’t leave loving their hair, they wont be back and they won’t tell their friends and people won’t stop them and ask them where they get their hair done.” Clay has been able to appear on “Extreme Makeover,” ”How do I look?” and “Before and Afternoon Makeover.” He has also been featured in hair commercials, had the salon products featured in movie “Final Destination 4,” and headed up runway hair for “Think” expo with LA Modeling Agency. But, most of all, Clay enjoys the wonderful creative and talented staff at his salon
